What I Hear At Potty Time
“Korie.”
“Yes Squirt?”
“You poop on the potty?”
“Yes, I poop on my potty at home.”
“Why don’t you poop at school?”
“I don’t have to go at school.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know Squirt, sometimes when I have to, I guess I poop at school.”
“When?”
“Whenever. Next time I poop at school, I’ll let you know, ok?”
“Will you come to my house?”
“If mommy and daddy ask me to, yeah sure.”
“Will you poop on my potty?”
sigh……
While changing a diaper…
“Dresden (I call her this because she and her brother look like Dresden Dolls) you know your shoes are wet.”
“They not shoes, they sandals.”
“Sorry, your sandals are wet.”
“Yes.”
“Why are your sandals wet?”
“Because they not dry.”
Ah. Silly me.
