Questions Better Left Unanswered
Oh. My. God. Oh my god. Ohmygodohmygodohmygod. I can’t stop laughing. As many of you may have noticed, I put a sitemeter on here a week or two ago. Originally it was so I could see how many hits my blog was getting (and show my readers that other people were reading too…blush). My mum pointed out to me a few days ago that you can look at the locations of each hit through the site meter (today Cabana Boy tried to show me the invisible meter he uses that is a lot more detailed but I logged in on his account to look at it and now everytime I try to log in on mine to install it, it shows up entirely in Dutch) and now I’m obsessed with looking at some of the different places I get hits from. Some of them are obvious, like the ones from Pittsburgh and Belgium and Vienna (hi MAK!). Occasionally, though, I’ve noticed a few odd ones. Tonight I saw one from Pakistan. To my knowledge I don’t know and people from Pakistan, so, out of curiosity, I checked out the details of this particular person’s hit. One of the features of my site meter is that I can see the “Referrence Page” that led the reader to my blog. The Pakistani person was directed to my blog via a goodle search. I clicked on it. Up popped the google search page. And what was the phrase that led some random person in Pakistan to me?
