Ten things I love about fall

I totally stole this meme from here, but I’m feeling lazy and the constant running to pee (drinking all 10 cups of H2O per day, ahthankyou South Beach….meh) isn’t letting me concentrate on one topic for very long.
- The weather is perfect, not so cold that your nose drips, but not so hot that you smell like a foot at the end of the day.
- Apple Cinnamon scented stuff (candles, soap, lotion, etc.)
- Watching the leaves change (although it pisses me off that I usually end up seeing this out the windshield of my car while sitting in rush hour traffic)
- It’s semi acceptable to wear a ski/tousle cap, at least in the early morning or late evening.
- The clothing. I hate summer clothes. Except sandals. I’d wear sandals in January if frostbite weren’t a certainty.
- Apple Cider in the crock pot with cinnamon sticks and/or nutmeg (it’s almost an aphrodesiac).
- Crunching through piles of leaves when I do get the occasional chance for a long walk.
- The smell of woodsmoke in the air (I noticed in the summer it tends to smell like burning tires or ozone).
- Fall baked goods (damn you South Beach): nut rolls, bear claws, pumpkin rolls etc.
- Halloween and Thanksgiving, two of my favorite holidays (and I may not be celebrating them anymore after this year so I plan on enjoying them)
