I’ve been toying with the idea of hosting my blog indepndantly for some time now, but seeing as I have only managed to up my following from 5 to about 25, I’m not convinced it’s a worthwhile investment yet. However, I have been wanting to try other blog engines and so I created my character sketch blog on Wordpress in order to tinker with a different blogging format and I decided I like it a lot better. In a last ditch attempt to make this blog a bit more “me” I tried changing the template (I’ve tried several times and it never worked till now, but it was still a pain in the ass). And yes, the colors and feel are not as oppressive as that faboo green-ness but everything is aligned all weird and I’m done playing with it. I’ve decided to move to Wordpress and in May I’ll reevaluate whether or not to actually buy a domain.
So, that brings me to my question: How can I move my content here on Blogger over to Wordpress? I’ve heard it can be done, but I have no idea how.
Can someone help me with this? I’ll send you a box of Belgian pralines, and no, that’s not a lie. It is sort of a bribe, but a totally well intentioned bribe and I’m 100% totally serious.

Wordpress has an auto import feature. It’s as easy as can be.
BTW, it might be a better idea to move your blog *before* you get a good sized following. You will be sure to lose some folks in the transition.

I really like the new site (like that means anything to you!) I hope your home sickness is subsiding a little….I would say you got yourself a keeper! and yes, I read you blog everyday because I seem to live vicariously through everyone else’s lives! Hope all is well…..
