Can You Make a Difference?
I have a lovely bloggy friend by the name of Jo. Jo posesses such a unique perspective and wit and I’m so glad I started reading her blog. Along with that keen humor of hers, Jo is also a caring and concerned lady who often leaves me words of encouragement when I start blogging the blues. Her words have often given me a lift and so now I’m hoping to try to help her to help her friend Marie.
Marie is suffering from a very rare disease called Pulmonary Haemosiderosis. It is causing her a lot of pain and very little is known about the illness, so Marie has been unable to find much about it via the internet, nor can her specialist seem to provide her with much solid information. You can read more about it on Jo’s post regarding the situation.
The point of this post is simply to ask any of you readers out there if anyone knows anything about this disease, including other people who suffer from it. Do you or a friend or acquaintance have any sort of familiarity with Pulmonary Haemosiderosis? Do you know of any support groups or online resources? Is anyone reading this a pulmonary specialist? (never hurts to ask).
Anyway, if you can help Jo to help Marie, it would be greatly appreciated and any information you might have can be sent to Jo or to me, if that’s easier and I’ll be sure to pass it on to her. Also, if you can spare the virtual space in your own blog to mention this illness to your own readers, maybe if we all pass it on we can find someone out there who can help make a difference
