Haiku Friday – Calienté

Shimmering pavement
Beads of sweat roll down my back
August in Belgium

-Sorry it’s so short today.  I’m so tired I started reading my English marginal notes out loud during my turn to read in class so I made it a quicky today.  To read more haikus head on over here.

Beautifully haiku’d! I can very much relate. Japan in August without AC and doing the granny bike thing everywhere so I’d turn up to work drenched in sweat was un-fun. Nicely done!

isn’t a haiku *supposed* to be short? there is no short haiku. there is haiku.

    or did i miss something.

anyway enough of that. this was another good offering.

at work we have this really expensive system that keeps us cool. instead of letting us get it to the optimum temperature, there’s this dumb beotch who i am unfortunately friends with (actually she’s not dumb, she’s very bright, but she’s rude, impatient and not forward-thinking) (but she’s also very funny) who called down and told them to turn *off* the system. turn it off? wtf? ugh.
