You Know You Are Me When…
You finally were given a chance to work in a daycare and this last week was your trial period.
You worked 9 and half and ten hour days all week, commuting by tram to an independantly owned daycare in a house where there was no flushing toilet, chickens in the yard and fruit flies everywhere.
You were thrown into a rather chaotic environment full of babies and a few toddlers with the occasional preschooler and you were never actually shown where anything was.
You did all of this entirely in a language you were not totally fluent in, busted your ass to do what you thought was your absolute best in the given situation…
And were basically told today that you weren’t efficient or “take charge” enough for the position.
Yeah…when you’re absolute best is never good enough? Then you know you’re me.

Sounds more like you were taken advantage of in a disgusting situation. I’m sorry that it was a bad experience, but it doesn’t sound like a daycare that I would want my child in.

Man, you just can’t get a break. It sounds like those people have no ability to make a sound judgment about anything, let alone efficiency.
Where were you? I mean, no flushing toilet? Full of fruit flies? Somewhere in the rimboe? And they told you you were not good enough? As Thalia’s child says, you were taken advantage of! That’s for sure!!!

sometimes there are battles you can’t win no matter what you do. The place sounds like chaos and honestly, you might have just been too good for it. Hang in there. Don’t give up,please
Ugh, that does suck. I’m pretty sure it’s them, not you. Try not to let it get you down too much. Easier said than done.
That sucks! And I agree with my sister’s comment, you were taken advantage of and the place is not fit to be a chrildren’s daycare center. I’m sure if they got the health inspectors over they would have to close the place down. I wish they would!
i want to go to thesaurus.com and find a synonym for “sucks”, but instead i’ll just join the “sucks” crowd. that’s cool too.

no flushing toilet? is this daycare controlled by “Kind& Gezin”? if so you should report them! If not, ….I’d not trust them even beforehand.
