Ever Heard German Reggae?

Yeah, me neither until this summer, But Peter Fox’s Haus am See has been one of the major hits for the summertime. I have no idea what he’s saying (I’m lucky if I understand half the Dutch songs I hear) but it’s definitely a different sound and I don’t mind hearing it now and then.  And what better way to start the weekend than with some reggae?

Hmmm, not my cup of tea really. I’m pretty allergic to German.

I love this song, it’s one of those “First cup of coffee in the morning” songs. If you put “Haus am see lyrics” into the search thingy on YouTube you will find a clip with the words translated into English on a black background. The song is about a house by a lake.
