Scared Sick
I had a lot to tell you about.
I was going to tell you about how proud I was that I recognized, not only a Dutch dialect, but which dialect it was.
I was going to show you the crabcakes CB made for our dinner over the weekend.
I was going to talk about the difference between escalators in Gent and Brussels.
I was going to give you an anecdote about poop covered babies.
But on Sunday Rex started vomiting fluid and acting strange.
By Monday he had stopped moving, eating and using the litter box other than one bout of severe diarhea.
On Tuesday CB took him to the vet and they decided to keep him until Thursday to see if he just had a virus and needed fluids or if it was something worse.
Tonight they decided it is definitely something worse. Something causing his digestive system to fail.
Tomorrow morning they will cut open my baby to find and fix whatever is basically killing my cat.
And I’m having a hard time even breathing, let alone blogging.

oh no… I’ll keep you (and rex) in my thoughts
Oh no! I am so, so sorry. Sending you and your kitty warm, healing thoughts. I hope everything turns out okay.
I’m sorry, honey. I hope everything turns out ok.
Oh no! I am sending healthy kitty thoughts your way. It’s always so horrible when they are sick and can’t tell you what’s wrong. Hang in there!
poor Rex
poor you
I hope you’ll both be better soon!
I’m behind in my blogs, but I just read your Facebook status and saw the update, so I’ll just say I’m glad to hear that all turned out okay. Poor kitty. But now I want to hear about the poop-covered kids, escalators, and the rest of the things you mentioned.
