Bites From Cologne
As promised, plenty of pictures. I’ll start you off with some food. Well, what we were able to keep out of our mouths long enough to take pictures of anyway.

Fried potato pancakes with lingonberry sauce

hot spiced wine

The regional beer, from Peter's brauhaus (brew house)

Lattes to go with our gelato

Our gelato...mmmm, nutty

Ham, cheese, tomato covered Schnitzel with fried potatoes and onions
There were also garlic bread spread with olives, wurst, brötchen, pretzels, lumumba (spiked cocoa), meat from a spit and a surprisingly yummy Japanese spread of sashimi, sushi and tempura (that’s a story in and of itself). It was definitely a delicious, albeit belt busting, weekend!

Yum, delicious!
Looks delicious. I think that I’d start with the gelato and work my way down from there. Sounds like you had a wonderful time.
