This comment by Goofball on my last post got me thinking. Often times her comments get me thinking, actually. But anyway, I found it funny because CB recently put some new music on my ipod and there is one song I particularly like by a group called Gorki. We saw Gorki live in Gent during the Gentse Feesten and well, it was an okay show but I didn’t understand any of the lyrics, plus there was that whole “is CB gonna beat the crap out of obnoxious guy and if so does that mean I ought to jump his wife cause I outweigh her by like 50 pounds and I can totally take her” thing distracting me. But anyway.
So this hit song by Gorki called “Mia” is now on my ipod and I really like it. The lead singer’s voice isn’t particularly great but the melody and instrumental part are pretty. And I can distinguish and understand most of the lyrics although I wanted to look them up to see if I was hearing the right words. So I found the lyrics and like Goofball said, they really don’t make a ton of sense to me. But I still like the song. Take a listen and check out the lyrics below….I’ve also included an English translated version by another Flemish singer named Milow (who I like as well)

My theme is still annoying the everloving crap out of me with the anorexic sidebar. Seriously, I’m looking for a new theme. I even have a design in mind, but I know getting a new WP theme from a designer is out of my current budget. So in the interim, I know that I have some talented readers and I’m asking if anyone either has some suggestions or has seen a theme out there somewhere that might fit this blog and allow me more space for sidebar items. I hate that my awards and widgets leak out into the cell padding of that sidebar and I hate that my new and improved one liner up top isn’t visible cause of the damn butterfly. Please…if anyone can help me out until I’m able to afford a custom design, I will be forever in your debt and may even be willing to throw chocolate at you.
