Benevento Historical Points Received from Milan worth 200 million Euros
Benevento finally picked his first point in Serie A. Amazingly, it was earned against AC Milan, a team that recently shopped more than 200 million euros last summer Judi bola.
Benevento broke eggs when entertaining Milan at Stadio Ciro Vigorito on Sunday (03/12/2017) night local time. That is their first point after 15 weeks of the season and goes dramatically.
Is the goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli who successfully deliver Benevento get the draw. He scored in injury time, greeting a free kick.
One point is enough for Benevento to carve out history, as it is their first number in history in Serie A. Benevento is a debutant in Serie A this season, having never played at the top level of the Italian league before.
What’s interesting is that the historic points were picked against a team built of massive money. Milan last summer was spending furiously to strengthen the team, spending approximately 233 million euros for the recruitment of newer players. The Rossoneri almost form a new starting XI from the shopping.
Milan brought Leonardo Bonucci for 42 million euros, Andre Silva trafficked worth 38 million euros, and Andrea Conti and Hakan Calhanoglu purchased each worth 24 and 20 million euros. There are still names of Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, and Lucas Biglia all costing over 15 million euros.
That does not include loan players with a mandatory purchase clause, for example Franck Kessie will drain 28 million euros while Nikola Kalinic takes a total cost of 15 million euros.
Compared to Milan’s shopping, Benevento is clearly nothing. Last summer, they only spent about 20 million euros which would be enough for Milan to bring in a Calhanoglu.
Benevento’s most expensive player in the transfer market? His name is Andrew Gravillon, a player who bought from the Inter Milan Primavera team for 4 million euros only. Never heard of his name, have you?
Even if viewed from the comparison of the current team value, Benevento is very small compared to Milan. Transfermarkt reports that Benevento’s market value is 41 million euros, that’s about one-eighth of Milan’s team value of 347 million euros.
